Join Us for our first New Orleans Ancestor Community Burn. Why New Orleans? Both owners of Magdalenas have a love for the Crescent City, and one spent summers here with her grandmother as a child. It is where we found our magic and spiritual connection to Hoodoo.

During this event, we will be offering a group candle burn exclusively for our valued customers. We will be lighting these ancestors candles in remembrance of loved ones.

This occasion symbolizes a deep connection with our lineage, paying homage to those who came before us. As the veil thins, the spiritual energy intensifies, allowing us to commune with the spirits of our ancestors with greater clarity and reverence.

To participate, simply entrust us with your name, date of birth, the names of your beloved ancestors, and our skilled practitioners will infuse each candle with honor and intention. Together, we will create a collective tapestry of remembrance, weaving the stories and blessings of our ancestral heritage. What can you do at your home? If you have a altar space clean your altar, remove and dust and dirt or old fruits and flowers. Give them fresh water, beautiful flowers, and items they enjoyed when they walked the earth. Some of our ancestors love candy, fruits, perfume, cigarettes, cigars, rum, tobacco, pound cake, coins and MONEY $$$. Giving to your ancestors most importantly is from the heart.
