The San Damiano icon cross was painted to teach the meaning of Christ’s saving death and resurrection. This icon, like all others, is a “Window to heaven” which helps us encounter, by grace, our God who loves us unconditionally and who calls each of us to build up his body on earth. Our San Damiano cross is crafted of wood, contains a full-color image and includes a hanger on back.
